Fast Mover #ClimateAction

Fast support for current challenges

We support you in developing sustainable solutions and implementing them quickly.

To fight the climate crisis, we need not only technologies and knowledge, but also targeted communication to offer practicable solutions. We know the content industry is aware of its responsibility and has long been in the process of developing appropriate solutions.

That’s why we’re looking for you: journalists, start-ups, content creators, innovators and all those who make climate protection a top priority in their companies. We want to show how you can make a significant contribution to communication between science, business, politics and society.

In the annual Fast Mover competition, we call on you to develop solutions to current issues and make existing projects visible. We support your approaches with up to 5,000 € as well as an extensive network of supporters.

Climate meets Content & Tech

Do you have a newsletter or podcast that reports on current climate developments? Does your platform communicate solutions or bring relevant actors together? Do you understand how to put the climate crisis on the agenda in all departments of a newsroom? Do you have a plan for reducing your own corporate footprint and can you  tell us about it? We are looking for innovations from and for the content industry that improve communication and have a valuable imput in the fight against the climate crisis.

FAQs

The selected projects will receive up to 5.000€ each, promising contacts through and via the supporter network, visibility and the opportunity to talk about your approaches with like-minded people at the Fast Mover #ClimateAction Impact Night. You decide what you want to use the funding amount for in connection with your project – you just need to tell us about it at the beginning and submit a quick and uncomplicated proof of use at the end.

We call on start-ups, journalists, content creators and innovators to submit best practices for developing approaches for a green future. We are also looking for all those who, despite all the adversities, make climate protection their top priority. We want to makey your attempts visable, because they also helps others. Alliances in the fight against the climate crisis are more elementary than ever.

The application process takes place via an online form and is quite uncomplicated. In only three questions you will have to answer the most important information about your idea or your project. We want to know why your project contributes to a sustainable development of our society and economy and where you could need support from us. If you have any questions, you can consult with our program manager Bruno before submitting your application.

At least three days. Participation in Impact Night and prior training with our pitch trainer are mandatory for projects. You will also develop a roadmap on how to successfully continue your project and plan the next milestones. During the program, our supporters are available for sparring and support.

A jury of six experts will select the projects and announce its decision on November 5, 2021. The following criteria will guide our selection:
How innovative is your approach?
How much can others learn from your approach?
How much does your approach contribute to improved climate communication?
